Let's get started.
We'll tell you what fits and what it costs before anything is signed.
Or call (443) 390-5488, Monday to Saturday, 9 to 6 Eastern, or send a message.
A few quick questions, about two minutes.

What happens after you reach out
The same seven steps for every family.
-
You reach out: call us, or start online
One question and how to reach you, about two minutes. Or just call.
-
We listen
Within one business day, a real person. You tell us what you need; you hear what fits and what the first step costs.
-
Your proposal arrives in writing, the same day
In your secure online portal: the engagement letter, the proposal with the full fee, and the IRS authorization form (Form 8821) that lets us see your IRS account, nothing more.
-
You sign and pay
Nothing is charged before this. Cancel before the work begins for a full refund.
-
We ask the IRS for your records
The same business day you sign.
-
Your records arrive
Usually five to ten business days. Every date we give you counts from this day.
-
The work starts, by service, and you can see it
A return, prepared. A plan: your Three-Year Transcript Review within ten days, then your projection in the fall. A case: your Resolution Roadmap within two weeks. Your portal shows where things stand, and we text you when something moves.
Before you reach out
What is the IRS form you'll ask me to sign?
Form 8821 is the IRS’s tax information authorization. When you sign it, the IRS lets GN see your account: what’s been filed, what’s owed, what’s been assessed, what the IRS has on record for your wages and income. That is what your first written result is built from, whichever kind of help you choose.
It does not let anyone act for you. It cannot sign anything, agree to anything, move money, or speak to the IRS on your behalf. In a resolution case, we also file Form 2848, which does let us represent you, and that one is explained on the proposal before you sign it. Each spouse signs their own authorization.
The authorization goes to the IRS the day your proposal is signed and paid, never before. The IRS usually takes five to ten business days to post it and release your records. Every delivery promise after that is counted from the day your records arrive.
What happens on the first call?
We ask what’s going on, answer your questions, and tell you the next step and what it costs. If you’re ready, your proposal is in your portal the same day. If you’d like time to think, that’s fine too.
Do I need my documents before I sign up?
No. The form takes a couple of minutes and asks for no documents. Most of what we need the IRS already has, and your authorization lets us pull it once you’ve signed.
How do meetings happen?
By phone or video, at a time we set with you once you’ve signed. You get an invitation with the link and a reminder before it.
Can I talk to a tax professional first?
Everyone’s first call is with us, including friends of past clients. We listen, work out with you what fits, and tell you the price. Once you’ve signed, your meetings are with an Enrolled Agent, whose time goes to your file.
Someone sent me. Should I mention them?
Yes, please tell us who. We like to know, and to thank them.
Is GN near me?
GN works by phone, video, and a secure portal, so where you live doesn’t change how we work together. There is nothing to drive to and almost nothing to mail.
