Privacy

Your tax information is some of the most personal information you have. Here is what we do with it, and what we don't.

What this website collects

Almost nothing. The site uses no analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies, and no outside scripts. Its pages, fonts, photographs, and video are served from our own host. We do not know who visits it.

The message form

If you send us a message, the form delivers your name, the email or phone number you choose, and your note to our business inbox, info@gntaxservice.com. Our web host, Netlify, keeps a copy of each message until we clear it. Please leave Social Security numbers and account numbers out of the form; the client portal is the place for those.

Signing up and the client portal

The Start button opens our client portal, run by TaxDome. Your account, your documents, your proposal, and your IRS authorization live there, behind your own sign-in. We ask for documents through the portal rather than by email or text.

Your tax return information

We use your tax return information only to do the work you engage us for. Any other use or disclosure requires your separate, signed consent, as federal law (Internal Revenue Code section 7216) requires. That includes any conversation about insurance coverage with James Paige IV, who is also a licensed insurance agent: it happens only after your separate written consent.

We keep a written information security plan, the safeguards a tax practice is required to have, and we follow it.

What we never do

We never sell, rent, or trade your information.
